OKX said it will list Unified Tokenized Stocks on its spot market, starting with deposits for all assets at 3:00 UTC on Aug. 13, 2026 and staggered trading launches across Aug. 13 and Aug. 14. The product is described as a tokenized-stock trading asset that lets users hold and trade price exposure to an underlying stock or ETF in share-denominated units, with symbols formed by adding an uppercase X to the stock ticker, such as XAAPL or XTSLA. OKX said the offering is powered by xStocks, Payward's tokenized equity framework, supports deposits and withdrawals on Solana and X Layer, and trades 24/7 in USDT pairs. The exchange said Unified Tokenized Stocks does not represent ownership of the underlying company and does not grant shareholder rights such as voting, adding that it is not a token issued by OKX but an arrangement that gives users price exposure and the ability to withdraw xStocks. The company also outlined features including strategy-bot support, dividend handling through reinvestment at the issuer level, and shared account access alongside crypto spot and Equity Perps. It said the product has not been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold to U.S. persons, as defined in Regulation S, or within the United States.
