A brief infrastructure outage disrupted 102 of Solana's 699 staking validators, but the network continued operating without interruption. The remaining 597 validators, or about 85%, kept voting normally, allowing Solana to continue producing blocks and processing transactions. Jacob Creech, a technology executive at the Solana Foundation, said the incident involved an overnight outage at an infrastructure provider used by some validators. The affected validators recovered within 40 minutes, and validators in the Solana Foundation Delegation Program were not impacted.
