Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group said it rolled out its 600,000th vehicle at its Ma'anshan manufacturing plant during the company’s 10-year anniversary ceremony, a milestone it described as making it the world’s first new energy commercial vehicle manufacturer to reach that cumulative production level. The vehicle was a Homtruck heavy truck designed for European operations, with calibration for EU regulations and local fleet needs. Farizon said the model, positioned as its flagship electric long-haul tractor, uses the company’s most advanced core-system technology for European logistics and carries a 600-kWh battery pack, a 500-kilometer driving range, dual fast-charging ports and a 1.5-million-kilometer B10 service life. The company said those specifications are intended to improve efficiency, operating costs and safety, while supporting faster electrification of heavy trucks in Europe. It added that the Homtruck is set to enter Europe soon and that the production milestone strengthens its global competitiveness as it expands localized support and technology upgrades.
