Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev said Robinhood Chain adoption exceeded expectations and described it as the fastest growing of all time. Newer onchain data cited in the report showed daily active addresses rising from a typical level of about 280,000 to 1.9 million on Aug. 11 and then above 5.2 million on Aug. 12. The surge was driven mainly by activity on Uniswap, StonkPit and OpenSea, with Uniswap contributing the largest share. The report cautioned that the spike may include bots, wash-volume accounts, incentive farmers and other low-quality addresses, so effective user numbers could be materially lower than the headline figures.
