CHINT said it will use CIGRE 2026 in Paris to present transmission and distribution technologies aimed at Europe’s grid upgrade, including equipment for battery energy storage systems and AI data center infrastructure. The showcase comes as Europe’s power system adds more renewable generation, electrification and data center demand, with an ETIP SNET position paper estimating €650 billion to €900 billion of grid infrastructure investment will be needed across Europe from 2026 to 2035. CHINT said its display at Level 1, Booth A196, will cover high-voltage transformers, SF₆-free switchgear, integrated substations, solid-state transformers and data center power modules. The company said the portfolio is designed for transmission system operators, distribution system operators and EPC contractors seeking more resilient, flexible and scalable networks.
