Robinhood Chain's daily NFT trading volume climbed to $3.13 million on Aug. 12, about 2.3 times Ethereum's $1.35 million, underscoring strong early activity on the recently launched network. The chain's mainnet went live on July 1, and The Data Nerd, citing Dune Analytics, said the latest surge was likely driven in the short term by FOMO as traders rotated into the new chain. Analysts also cautioned that one-day NFT volume spikes are often hard to sustain in a volatile market, even as the jump highlights rising competition among blockchains trying to lure users with lower costs and faster transactions. Ethereum remains the most established venue for NFT trading, but higher fees and congestion have helped alternative networks gain attention from traders seeking cheaper execution.
