AEON has connected AEON Pay to Bre-B, Colombia's national instant payment network, allowing users to spend crypto by scanning Bre-B QR codes while merchants receive settlement in Colombian pesos. Payments can be made through direct on-chain transfers, AEON Wallet balances and supported ecosystems including Binance Wallet, Bitget Wallet, OKX Wallet, Solana Pay, TokenPocket, KuCoin and Bybit. AEON said the move extends its Latin American footprint and supports the agentic economy by linking crypto and future AI agent transactions to the local payment rails used for everyday commerce; it added that AEON Pay reaches more than 50 million merchants and 10,000-plus brands globally, and that the company serves 2.3 million users with more than $475 million in processed volume.
