B HODL, a U.K.-listed Bitcoin treasury company, is generating revenue from its Bitcoin holdings by supplying payment liquidity on the Lightning Network through a partnership with Lightning wallet ZEUS. The two sides initially committed 1 BTC and are collecting transaction-routing fees from the deployment, with a review planned after three months to determine whether the arrangement should be expanded. The setup builds on B HODL’s stated strategy of putting part of its reserves to work in Bitcoin payment infrastructure rather than leaving them idle. Chief Executive Officer Freddie New previously said the approach is meant to grow the company’s Bitcoin position while also strengthening the infrastructure behind Bitcoin payments.
