ShibariumScan, the block explorer for Shiba Inu's Shibarium Layer-2 network, returned online and resumed indexing after an August 11 DNS and hosting change that moved traffic behind Cloudflare, but branding, Shibnames support and .shib configuration remain missing and the backfill is still frozen, according to Shiba Eternity advisor Mazrael. The explorer later said its displayed transaction total fell from 1.56 billion to about 475 million, a 69.55% drop, because historical data has not been fully indexed after the infrastructure change, while the blockchain itself continues processing transactions normally. Mazrael also said the Shibarium domain is healthy, expires on August 1, 2027 and has all four transfer locks enabled. Separately, he said the Shibthemetaverse domain is now showing domain-parking ads, which he described as confirmation of divestment and a break from its previous association with the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
