Ideal Power Inc said it advanced its B-TRAN semiconductor switch technology in the second quarter, including prototype work with a lead Asian customer and industry partners for Nvidia's 800V DC data center power architecture. The update points to progress in applying the company's power semiconductor technology to higher-voltage data center systems, where switching efficiency and protection hardware are important. Ideal Power also said it finalized solid-state circuit breaker work during the quarter.
