Conflux Network has scheduled its v3.1.0 hard fork for Aug. 25 at epoch 155140000, requiring all node operators to install the mandatory upgrade before the network reaches that point or face a more burdensome reinstall and resynchronization process. The release will activate seven Conflux Improvement Proposals, including changes aimed at keeping eSpace aligned with recent Ethereum standards, adding support for a passkey-related signature scheme used by WebAuthn, limiting resource-heavy requests, and fixing bugs in transaction formatting, validator staking, cross-space permissions and access-list handling. CIP-173 is expected to take effect on Aug. 26 at proof-of-stake block 3749400. Conflux said v3.1.0 also includes a private security fix that will be disclosed only after the hard fork to reduce the risk to nodes that have not yet upgraded.
