AIM Global Foundation stepped up outreach to India’s investment and business community during Chairman Dawood Al Shezawi’s 5 to 8 August 2026 visit to Mumbai, part of an international roadshow ahead of the 15th AIM Congress in Dubai. Meetings with senior government officials and leaders from conglomerates, private companies, chambers of commerce, and industry associations centered on investment cooperation and potential partnerships in advanced manufacturing, technology, startups, sustainable infrastructure, trade, and the digital economy. The push comes against a broader expansion in UAE-India economic ties under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, with bilateral trade reaching US$100.06 billion in the 2024-25 financial year, up 19.6%, and both sides agreeing in January 2026 to work toward US$200 billion in trade by 2032. AIM Congress is scheduled for 7 to 9 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre under the theme "Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future."
