Agora said second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 18.0% year over year to $40.4 million, while net income increased to $2.2 million from $1.5 million a year earlier, extending what the company described as its seventh straight quarter of GAAP profitability. The company linked the growth to continued expansion in its real-time engagement business, particularly in live shopping and financial service, and said investment in conversational AI products is broadening use cases for voice AI agents in market surveying, buyer interest capture and customer service. Active customers were 3,892 as of June 30, 2026, up from 3,877 a year earlier, and dollar-based net retention rate (customer revenue retention from the same cohort) improved to 104% from 94%. Gross margin narrowed to 63.7% from 66.8%, reflecting product mix changes and the sub-scale stage of conversational AI products. Agora ended June with $361.7 million in cash, cash equivalents, bank deposits and bank-issued financial products, and said it expects third-quarter 2026 revenue of $41 million to $42 million, implying year-over-year growth of 15.8% to 18.6%.
