A large HYPE holder transferred about 923,743 tokens worth roughly $53.03 million to Coinbase Prime and FalconX over the past 11 hours, moving around two-thirds of the wallet's holdings while retaining 969,595 HYPE valued at about $55.5 million. The transfers included 692,807 HYPE worth about $39.77 million to Coinbase Prime and 230,936 HYPE worth about $13.26 million to FalconX. Exchange deposits are often watched as a potential sign of selling because tokens are being moved to venues where they can be liquidated, but such transfers can also be tied to over-the-counter transactions, custody arrangements or collateral management. The activity comes as Hyperliquid, the layer-1 blockchain and decentralized exchange platform behind HYPE, continues to see significant trading activity, and the token has been prone to sharp volatility that can be amplified by large holders moving funds.
