SEMIFIVE said first-half 2026 bookings rose to KRW 118.9 billion and consolidated revenue reached KRW 94.7 billion, equal to 71% of its full-year 2025 bookings of KRW 168.4 billion and 78% of its full-year 2025 revenue of KRW 120.9 billion. The company attributed the performance to balanced growth across its three businesses: ASIC turnkey, mass production and IP licensing. ASIC development revenue totaled KRW 54.1 billion, more than doubling from a year earlier, as the company continued to build an end-to-end custom silicon model aimed at customers that want tailored chips but lack in-house semiconductor design capabilities. Mass production bookings reached KRW 42.3 billion in the half, nearly double the KRW 21.2 billion recorded in all of 2025, while second-quarter bookings climbed to KRW 26.7 billion from KRW 15.6 billion in the first quarter, with overseas customers contributing about 45%, or KRW 12.1 billion, of the quarter's total. In IP, subsidiary Analog Bits generated KRW 32.5 billion in first-half revenue, surpassing its full-year 2025 revenue of KRW 30.5 billion, while bookings were KRW 32.1 billion, or 77.3% of its 2025 total of KRW 41.5 billion. Gross margin improved to 30.6% from 11.9% a year earlier, and operating margin rose 47.0 percentage points to -11.5%, narrowing losses. SEMIFIVE said follow-on purchase orders and demand for high-performance AI semiconductor projects based on 3D-IC (stacked chip integration) technology support its growth outlook for the second half.
