Binance said it will stop supporting deposits and withdrawals for Sophon (SOPH) over BNB Smart Chain on Aug. 21, 2026, at 16:00 Beijing time. After that cutoff, SOPH deposits made through that network will not be credited to user accounts and could result in asset losses, while transfers through other Binance-supported networks remain available. Separately, Binance said it will remove spot trading pairs APT/BTC, AR/BTC, A/USDC, BTTC/TRY, CYBER/USDC, LPT/BTC and WAL/FDUSD on Aug. 14 at 03:00 UTC as part of its periodic review process tied to factors including liquidity and trading volume. Binance Margin and Loan will also delist all margin trading pairs for BTTC and POWR on Aug. 14, with Cross Margin, Isolated Margin, Flexible Loan and VIP Loan support for the affected tokens set to close outstanding positions automatically unless users repay before the cutoff. CryptoQuant data cited in the update showed Binance's Bitcoin reserves rising to 667,500 BTC, the highest level since February, after recovering from an earlier decline.
