AerCap Holdings N.V. said it has delivered its 10th Boeing 787 on lease to Grupo Aeroméxico, S.A.B. de C.V., with the latest aircraft being a Boeing 787-9. The delivery marks AerCap's 100th Boeing 787 handover from its direct orderbook with Boeing and Aeroméxico's 25th Dreamliner. AerCap said it is the world's largest owner of Boeing 787 aircraft and holds the biggest 787 orderbook among lessors, with about 140 aircraft owned and on order. Executives from AerCap, Aeroméxico and Boeing framed the delivery as a milestone for the airline's fleet modernization and long-haul growth, and for the 787 program's leasing market. AerCap said the aircraft should support Aeroméxico's continued expansion while improving fleet efficiency and sustainability. The statement also reiterated that forward-looking comments remain subject to risks including financing conditions, lessee payment capacity, regulation, geopolitical tensions and broader aviation market conditions.
