Team8 has raised $365 million in new capital, comprising $265 million for its third Team8 Capital fund and more than $100 million for follow-on backing of existing portfolio companies. The new pool will focus on seed and Series A AI-native startups across cybersecurity, AI infrastructure and fintech, with particular attention on infrastructure that helps enterprises deploy AI while maintaining security, governance and control. Team8 said its assets under management are now close to $2 billion. The firm has previously invested in crypto and AI companies including institutional cryptocurrency wallet developer Curv, AI compliance platform IVIX and AI data loss prevention company Jazz.
