No new Coldcard exploit attacks have been confirmed since Aug. 6, though Galaxy research head Alex Thorn said that does not rule out further incidents and urged continued vigilance. Thorn said he has been in contact with more than 190 victims of the attack since July 31 and asked anyone not yet in touch to contact him directly so he can provide tracing information and help them report losses to relevant authorities. The update suggests victim outreach and post-incident fund tracing are continuing even as the known wave of cases appears to have paused.
