Bitcoin traded sideways around $62,810 heading into the weekend as U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $131.1 million in net outflows on Thursday, extending signs of weak investor appetite. Coinglass data showed 82,737 traders were liquidated over the past 24 hours for $166.56 million, while SoSoValue data showed spot Ethereum ETFs drew $6.72 million in net inflows. Traders said Bitcoin has repeatedly dipped below $63,000 and recovered, but weakening rebounds, seasonal weakness in the second half of August during bear-market years, and the absence of a capitulation move seen near prior cycle bottoms point to growing downside risk. A weekly close below $63,000 would reinforce that weakness, while some analysts argued long-term investors should keep accumulating rather than try to time an exact bottom.
