Chainlink's LINK token rose 8.2% to $9.47 on Aug. 15 as activity accelerated across spot, derivatives and on-chain metrics, while Bitwise's Chainlink ETF recorded about $1.5 million in weekly inflows despite broader crypto market weakness. LINK's 24-hour trading volume climbed about 115% to $515.84 million, futures open interest increased 15% to $685.97 million, and futures trading volume rose 140% to $973.04 million. On-chain adoption also expanded, with the number of LINK holders reaching a record 3.96 million and active addresses doubling. The move extended LINK's 13.48% gain over the past week, leaving it among the strongest performers in the top 15 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization while most major peers posted losses or gains of less than 4%.
