Injective has rolled out a live testnet integration with Cardano that allows ADA transfers to Injective and INJ transfers to Cardano in a testing environment, marking a broader interoperability step between the two blockchain ecosystems. The feature has not been scheduled for mainnet deployment, but it is intended to test the infrastructure needed for cross-chain asset transfers that could later support DeFi and Web3 applications spanning both networks. The move could eventually give Cardano users access to Injective’s finance-focused markets and expose Injective users to Cardano’s native asset ecosystem, although any real-world impact will depend on testing, security and adoption.
