Bitcoin climbed back above $63,000 after a quiet weekend, rebounding from an early Monday low of $62,600 to as high as $63,600 after last week's failed push above $65,000 and a slide to a 10-day low of $62,500. Ether again approached $1,900, XRP hovered around the $1.00 level and bitcoin's market capitalization returned to $1.270 trillion on CoinGecko, with bitcoin dominance below 57%. Broader sentiment remained cautious from the prior session, even as earlier reports pointed to U.S. spot ETFs adding more than 14,000 BTC and analysts flagged the range above $60,000 as a possible bottoming zone. Among altcoins, Bitway extended its sharp rally, rising 16% on the day, 80% on the week and 460% over the past month to trade near $0.35 and become the 69th-largest cryptocurrency by market value, while RAIN, ZEC and HYPE posted more modest gains. The total crypto market added less than $20 billion over the day and stayed below $2.250 trillion.
