Villa has stepped in with a matching offer after PSG had reportedly agreed terms with Parma before the transfer unraveled. Suzuki, 23, joined Parma in July 2024 on a contract running through June 2029 and has emerged as Villa's main goalkeeping target. The move is not being framed solely as a response to PSG's failed bid, with Villa having already identified him as a potential long-term successor to Emiliano Martinez.
