Crypto liquidations across global derivatives markets climbed to $143 million over the past 24 hours, with short positions accounting for $83.71 million and long positions $58.94 million, marking a reversal from earlier lower tallies in which longs had absorbed most losses. Bitcoin liquidations included $12.38 million in longs and $17.89 million in shorts, while Ether saw $9.98 million in long liquidations and $16.15 million in shorts. Some 55,635 traders were liquidated worldwide, and the largest single liquidation was a $2.99 million BTCUSDT order on Binance.
