Nvidia is discussing an investment of as much as $3 billion in SB Energy, a SoftBank Group subsidiary developing a planned Ohio data center campus for OpenAI, according to a report by The Information. The talks would deepen Nvidia's role in AI infrastructure beyond supplying chips, with the report saying the investment is being considered alongside negotiations over the company providing around $100 billion in credit support for the project. Reuters said it could not immediately verify the report.
