PUMP, the native token of Solana memecoin launchpad Pump.fun, rose about 8.26% to roughly $0.0029 after nearly doubling from its July low, lifting its market capitalization to about $1.13 billion as 24-hour trading volume topped $100 million. The move came as Pump.fun continued to post strong fee income: earlier data put seven-day revenue at roughly $12 million, behind only Tether and Circle, while the latest cited seven-day total was $11.52 million and included a record $10.03 million in weekly protocol fees for Aug. 3-9, 2026; $5.37 million of the seven-day total was directed to PUMP holders through buybacks and burns. Technical indicators also turned more constructive, with a 50-day/200-day golden cross, ADX at 45.3, RSI at 51.4, open interest in perpetuals rising to $238.42 million from about $189 million two weeks earlier, and funding rates turning positive. Pump.fun held more than 50% of Solana memecoin-launch fee share by mid-August 2026, but only about 390-392 billion of PUMP's 1 trillion maximum supply is circulating, leaving future unlocks as a potential overhang.
