Charles Hoskinson has published Anthropies, a free Apache 2.0 tool on GitHub that aims to remove markers Anthropic now applies across Claude products, including invisible text watermarking introduced days earlier under the European Union AI Act transparency code. The repository says Claude's text mark is not a hidden payload but a wording pattern shaped by secret-key tournament sampling, so prose can only be cleared by rewriting it through a non-origin model; running that step inside Claude or Gemini would reapply the signal. Anthropies also strips "Co-Authored-By" Git trailers and removes C2PA credentials from images through re-encoding. Hoskinson cast the release as a warning about ownership, joint authorship and false positives when human text is lightly edited by Claude and later flagged as AI-generated.
