Zhao said unsolicited meme coins had cluttered the wallet during Trust Wallet testing, repeatedly prompting speculation that token transfers or apparent burns signaled endorsements even though public addresses can receive assets without the holder's approval. On Aug. 17, he said he had been wrong to dismiss hidden tokens as unhelpful, adding that Trust Wallet already has a hidden-token feature that is buried behind five taps and may be updated.
