Three apparent burn transactions involving 4,444 tokens each appeared in CZ's public donation address at about 16:15, covering the meme token Niu Lai, MarsCoin and "Bi An Ren Sheng." ChainCatcher, citing Arkham data and a follow-up verification, said the 4,444 Niu Lai burn was not initiated by CZ. The Niu Lai token involved had a contract beginning with 0xD043B6 and shared its name with a heavily traded namesake token whose contract begins with 0xbee. The creator address 0xcf86..383 deployed the contract, granted itself special permissions, minted 1 billion tokens to its own address, sent about 800 million to CZ, then used transferFrom (a token function for moving assets) to force 4,444 tokens from CZ's address to a burn address (an unrecoverable wallet), making it appear that CZ had destroyed them. CZ's address gave no approval to the token or to the initiator during that period.
