Bias Goose, a former Ripple staffer who now works in marketing at Walrus Protocol, has said his still-unnamed XRP Ledger startup will use Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin as its primary financial rail. Public posts since Aug. 8 point to a broader reveal around September, but no firm launch date, project name, partners or detailed legal and economic structure have been disclosed. Goose has said the venture is working with companies from a traditionally closed-off sector and will bring that activity onchain without issuing its own token or relying on artificial incentives. He has also promoted the idea of "real yield," but the source of any returns remains unverified because the underlying businesses, counterparties and revenue model have not been made public. The latest disclosures come as RLUSD's footprint has expanded, with Ripple reporting $1.5896 billion in circulation against $1.7026 billion in reserves as of Aug. 6, alongside monthly third-party attestations and oversight of issuer Standard Custody & Trust Company by the New York Department of Financial Services.
