LayerZero, KAITO, MBG By MultiBank Group and SOON are among the notable token unlocks scheduled for Aug. 17-23, 2026, with ZRO, KAITO, MBG and SOON all set to release meaningful fresh supply into the market. Updated figures also show smaller events for ZKsync and Meteora, while Aug. 20 stands out as the biggest upcoming day by cliff-unlock value, led by KAITO and LayerZero. For KAITO, one data set values the Aug. 20 release at about $9.09 million, or 10.74% of market value, while Binance token-unlock data shows about 32.6 million tokens worth roughly $11.48 million, equal to about 7.63% of circulating supply, and Tokenomist places the cliff unlock near $29.4 million, or 3.26% of total supply. For LayerZero, one estimate puts the Aug. 20 release at about $18.93 million, equal to 6.78% of market value, while Binance data shows 25.71 million ZRO worth around $19.39 million, or about 4.4% of circulating supply, and Tokenomist estimates the cliff portion at about $21 million, or 2.57% of total supply. ZKsync is scheduled to unlock about $1.31 million of tokens on Aug. 17, equal to 1.70% of market value, and Meteora is due to release about $1.16 million on Aug. 23, equal to 1.31% of market value. SOON is set to unlock 20.24 million tokens worth roughly $3.85 million, or 3.76% of circulating supply, and MBG will release 27.15 million tokens valued at about $2.85 million, or 6.16% of circulating supply. Token unlocks do not automatically trigger price declines, but traders watch them closely because the effect depends on the size of the release, circulating supply, liquidity and whether recipients sell or the market absorbs the new tokens. Tokenomist estimates about $876 million in August cliff unlocks overall, with roughly $231 million still ahead after HYPE's approximately $564 million unlock on Aug. 6, which was equal to 0.99% of total supply.
