Baupost Group opened new positions in CME Group, Axalta Coating Systems and Pershing Square in the second quarter, while fully exiting Willis Towers Watson and Vaxcyte, according to a new filing cited in the source. The firm bought 619,000 CME shares valued at $136.7 million at quarter-end, 1,274,356 Axalta shares worth $43.6 million and 392,000 Pershing Square shares worth $12.9 million. It also increased stakes in names including Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Genuine Parts, GDS Holdings, Amazon.com, Alphabet Class C and Ferguson Enterprises, while trimming positions such as WESCO International, Eagle Materials, Liberty Global, DNOW, Union Pacific, Restaurant Brands International, Americold Realty Trust and Aon.
