At the same time, Apple was reported to be testing memory chips from ChangXin Memory Technologies while U.S. officials and lawmakers pressed the company for answers by Aug. 21, adding geopolitical and competitive significance for memory suppliers including Micron. In derivatives trading, the CXMT contract on Hyperliquid rose about 12% over 24 hours to a post-launch high of $9.1654 before trading around $8.98, with open interest climbing to about $73.39 million and funding turning sharply negative as leveraged positioning increased.
