Lazard is expanding its Financial Advisory business in Switzerland by appointing Dr. Marco Superina to lead investment banking in the country, adding a Zurich presence and widening its dedicated coverage of the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). Superina will advise Swiss and international corporations, entrepreneurs and financial sponsors on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital solutions and other strategic matters, and he will join the DACH management team led by Marcus Schenck, Head of Financial Advisory for the DACH region at Lazard. He joins from UBS, where he was Head of Global Banking Switzerland, and the move forms part of Lazard 2030, the firm's long-term strategy to accelerate growth in Europe by broadening coverage in key markets.
