Gate is pushing beyond crypto trading toward broader financial infrastructure that links digital assets with traditional finance, as executive Lucas Sim said crypto and equities are increasingly converging into the same macro trade. Sim said the crypto market's correlation with the Nasdaq index is above its five-year average and at one point exceeded 0.8, while real-world assets on blockchain grew from about $12 billion a year ago to more than $30 billion and tokenized U.S. Treasuries reached roughly $15 billion. Gate, which offers access to U.S., Hong Kong and South Korean equities, said users can also trade traditional market products including precious metals, foreign exchange, global stock CFDs, major indexes and commodities through its app and web platform.
