DGrid AI, a decentralized AI network, said its DGAI token will serve as the ecosystem's utility and governance token, with uses including node staking, payments for AI services, rewards for ecosystem participation and protocol governance. The project has kept its airdrop claim portal open from Aug. 17, 2026 until 16:00 Beijing time on Aug. 22, allowing eligible users to check qualification, choose a claim option and bind an exchange account for direct distribution on the token generation event date. DGAI will have a total supply of 1 billion tokens, allocated 50% to node and infrastructure providers, 15% to the community, 10% to team incentives, 10% to investors, 8% to the airdrop and 7% to initial liquidity. Tokens for nodes will be released over 10 years, with the distribution amount halving every two years. Team and investor allocations will be locked for one year and then unlock linearly over two years, while airdrop and initial liquidity tokens will be fully unlocked at the token generation event. DGrid AI has previously said it completed a $5 million seed round, while its statements on Genesis plan revenue have differed between saying first-half 2026 revenue exceeded $23 million and saying it is expected to exceed that level.
