Taiwan will hold Taiwan Weeks 2026 from Nov. 3 to 13 as it seeks to deepen ties with global capital markets and strengthen its position as an Asian Asset Management Center. The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) announced the program with the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Taipei Exchange, Taiwan Futures Exchange, and Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation. Organizers said the second edition will run under the theme "From Tech Island to Capital Hub" and focus on Taiwan's technology base, capital markets, role in global supply chains, and rising wealth management demand across Asia. The schedule includes 12 core events and more than 30 series events, with more than 30 asset managers, banks, securities firms, and other organizations taking part. Topics will include artificial intelligence, exchange-traded funds, financial resilience, innovative financing solutions, and global market trends, while the Nov. 3 opening event will gather global asset managers, exchange leaders, and institutional investors. Other featured events include the Asian Asset Management Center Forum in Kaohsiung on Nov. 6 and the TiBOOST -INNOVATION GROWTH PROGRAM on Nov. 10 for AI startups seeking capital market access. The Asian Corporate Governance Association will also hold its 25th Annual Conference in Taiwan for the first time during the event. Organizers said the inaugural Taiwan Weeks drew nearly 28,000 visits, more than 1,200 institutional participants, and over 250 international investor representatives.
