Otis said it has been selected again for Tianjin 117 Tower, a nearly 600-meter supertall project in Tianjin, to deliver an integrated vertical transportation package covering 251 elevators and escalators. The company, which first supplied the tower in 2013, will now act as the sole provider for modernization, refurbishment, new installation and service as development resumes. The project is positioned around a series of high-rise mobility milestones, including more than 597-meter elevator hoistways, 53 double-deck elevators and Otis units running at up to 12 meters per second. Otis said the system will combine SkyRise elevators, Gen3 elevators, Link escalators, Public escalators and digital tools including Panorama 3 and ONE for real-time monitoring, traffic management and predictive maintenance.
