Landsbankinn completed an auction of its non-indexed covered bond series LBANK CB 32, accepting ISK 4,680m of bids at a 7.70% yield after receiving 15 bids worth ISK 5,480m at yields ranging from 7.66% to 7.73%. Following the tap issuance, the total amount issued in LBANK CB 32 will rise to ISK 12,620m, of which ISK 11,660m will be outstanding and ISK 960m retained. Alongside the auction, the bank ran a covered bond exchange offering that allowed holders of LBANK CBI 26 to sell that series against bonds bought in the auction at a predefined clean price of 99.644, resulting in Landsbankinn buying ISK 2,020m of LBANK CBI 26. Settlement is due on 24 August 2026. Arion banki, Islandsbanki and Kvika serve as market makers for Landsbankinn’s covered bonds, which are rated A+ with a stable outlook by S&P Global Ratings and issued under a license from the Financial Supervisory Authority (FME) in line with Act No. 11/2008 and FME rules No. 190/2023. The bank said the announcement may constitute inside information under the EU Market Abuse Regulation.
