Morpho has launched an open-source Quoter Bot for Morpho Midnight, giving market makers and developers a public baseline for two-sided quoting around a reference rate in the protocol's fixed-rate, fixed-term lending markets. The software can be forked and modified for different quoting strategies, sits alongside rather than inside Morpho's lending markets, and does not create a new token or change MORPHO supply. The release builds on Midnight's July 21 debut on Base, where fixed-rate credit is structured through signed maker offers that are matched on-chain, while Morpho Blue positions can keep earning variable yield until a fixed-rate order is filled. MORPHO traded at $2.11 in a CoinMarketCap snapshot on Aug. 18, up 9.84% over seven days, with a $1.09 billion market capitalization, $22.07 million in 24-hour volume and a $2.11 billion fully diluted valuation. The weekly gain should be treated as market movement rather than proof that the bot announcement drove the price. The launch also lands amid a broader expansion that has included a $175 million June funding round led by Paradigm, Andreessen Horowitz and Ribbit Capital, plus institutional-oriented products from BitGo and Zama using Morpho infrastructure.
