HIVE Digital Technologies reported $79.1 million in fiscal first-quarter revenue for the period ended June 30, 2026, including $72.1 million from crypto mining and $7.1 million from BUZZ HPC, after receiving 1,004 BTC and operating at an average hashrate of 24.0 EH/s. The company nevertheless posted a $142.9 million GAAP net loss after booking an $84.7 million non-cash Swedish VAT provision following adverse court rulings, with the quarter also absorbing $53.7 million of depreciation, $7.1 million of share-based compensation and a $7.1 million derivative valuation change. HIVE said the provision covers Swedish Tax Agency decisions or proposed decisions totaling SEK 769.6 million, plus SEK 52.4 million for later periods through June 30, while interest continues to accrue and Swedish counsel has assessed the chance of a favorable Supreme Administrative Court outcome as remote. Cash stood at $208 million, adjusted EBITDA was positive at $13.4 million, and the current-liability classification does not by itself establish that an immediate cash payment is due.
