TON Strategy Company said Oscar Suarez joined its Board of Directors as an independent director effective Aug. 17, 2026, and will also chair the Audit Committee. The Nasdaq-listed company, which focuses on building a treasury of Gram, said Suarez brings more than 40 years of experience across accounting, tax, audit, ICFR (internal control over financial reporting) and corporate governance. Chief Executive Officer Kevin Wilson said the company wants that depth of oversight as it expands a model designed to give U.S. public-market investors exposure to The Open Network through a scaled position in the network and its token. Suarez said the strategy should be paired with strong financial oversight and governance.
