Donald Trump’s administration includes 57 officials worth at least $100 million, with combined declared assets ranging from $13.9 billion to more than $34.8 billion, according to a Public Citizen report and a social media post from Sen. Bernie Sanders. The group said 17 of those officials serve as U.S. ambassadors and 40 hold senior roles across federal agencies, while at least 31 have disclosed assets of $100 million or more and eight have assets reaching $1 billion or more: Stephen A. Feinberg, Warren Stephens, John Phelan, Charles Kushner, Melinda Hildebrand, Howard Lutnick, Linda McMahon and Kenneth Howery. Public Citizen also said 30 of the 57 contributed more than $65 million to Trump-linked political committees during the 2024 election cycle. Sanders cast the findings as evidence that Trump’s government is dominated by the wealthy, echoing broader Democratic attacks on the administration’s economic agenda and its relationships with affluent appointees and donors.
