Zhao said unsolicited meme coins had flooded the address, making it "almost impossible to clean out" and cluttering Trust Wallet to the point he could no longer easily find his own BNB. The wallet had also become a trading signal on BNB Chain, where onchain activity is publicly visible, allowing some traders to monitor Zhao’s token burns and attempt to front-run them. One trader reportedly made $282,000, a 29x return, by anticipating those moves. Zhao said he does not plan to migrate the remaining activity to a new public address and instead is effectively turning the old wallet into a burn address (an address no longer intended for active use). BNB was around $602 with little immediate market reaction, suggesting the episode remained a niche trading story rather than a broader price catalyst.
