Dymon Asia Capital has received about $1 billion in phased capital allocations from the Abu Dhabi Investment Council to support expansion across markets from London to Hong Kong. The Singapore hedge fund's assets under management had climbed to about $9 billion by July, well above its earlier expectation of $5 billion by the end of 2026, and its multi-strategy fund returned about 7.5% this year. Dymon is focusing its buildout on commodities and its London operation, hiring Amir Ravan from Jain Global as head of commodities, Jay Radia from BlueCrest as chief operating officer for commodities, and former Schonfeld macro trader Manas Baveja in London. ADIC is also increasing its allocations to global hedge funds more broadly, with plans to raise that exposure to about $15 billion.
