XTI Aerospace said Scott Pomeroy resigned as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer effective immediately, prompting the board to appoint Drone Nerds chief executive officer Jeremy Schneiderman as Interim CEO and elect Jonathan Ornstein as Interim Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Dallas-based company said the leadership changes are meant to streamline management and position it for growth across commercial, industrial and defense drone markets. XTI also filed a Form 12b-25 (notice of late filing) with the SEC (U.S. securities regulator) for its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, citing an internal review of its former Chief Executive Officer and related corporate governance matters. The company said it intends to file the report as soon as practicable and that, because of the late-filing notice, management will not participate in Needham's Annual Virtual Industrial Tech, Robotics and Power Conference on August 17-18.
