Producer inflation accelerated in both Poland and Germany in July 2026. Poland’s annual rate rose to 2.8% from an upwardly revised 1.9% in June, exceeding the 2.3% market expectation and reaching its highest level since May 2023. Germany’s producer prices increased 3.0% year on year, up from 1.8% in June, above the 2.7% forecast and marking the fastest growth since April 2023. Poland’s increase reflected stronger price growth in mining and quarrying, manufacturing, and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation, while electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply prices declined. In Germany, intermediate goods and energy were the main drivers. Monthly producer prices rose 0.6% in Poland and 1.1% in Germany.
