Einride AB plans to deploy 500 Tesla Semi trucks across North America over 24 months starting in September 2026, calling it the largest Tesla Semi deployment announced so far and saying the vehicles will serve Amazon and other customers in California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois and Georgia. The order, backed by third-party financing and managed on Einride's Saga AI platform, is roughly double the company's current deployed electric fleet and is expected to lift that fleet to about 750 vehicles, with the trucks operating with drivers rather than autonomously. Einride also forecast constant-currency revenue growth of 60% to 73% in the second half, accelerating from 26% in the first half, and its shares rose 18% in premarket trading Tuesday. The deal adds to scrutiny on Tesla's long-delayed Semi program as it moves from limited deliveries toward higher-volume production in Nevada.
