World Liberty Financial said Hong Kong AI platform WorldClaw is an independent company that is not owned or operated by WLFI and that WLFI has no control over the AI models offered on the platform. The company said WorldClaw uses the Trump family-linked USD1 stablecoin as a payment method, similar to other projects in its ecosystem. WLFI did not answer whether it or related entities hold an equity stake in WorldClaw, have funded it, or receive licensing fees or a share of revenue, leaving the financial relationship between the two companies unclear. The clarification followed earlier Reuters reporting that highlighted links between World Liberty and WorldClaw and noted that WorldClaw could provide access to AI models from some Chinese companies under U.S. national security scrutiny.
